Another Update. . .

Today's news was rather anticlimactic - we cannot travel on August 17.  I guess the province Lili lives in is not one that Holt travels to very often, so the Holt China staff didn't think they could set things up for us to travel there so soon.  I was so hopeful after receiving the travel approval so quickly that we might be able to go in August, but now we're scheduled to travel on September 14.  We've been praying for God's timing for our travel, so I have to trust that God closed this door.  Disappointing, but not the end of the world.  September will come quickly. . .

Travel Approval!!!

Today we got the call - we have travel approval!  It came 10 days after the Article 5 letter was delivered to the CCAA - much quicker than our travel coordinator expected!  This is a huge answer to prayer.  Praise the Lord!!  We still don't have definite travel dates, but we should get them by the end of the week!  Please continue to pray for God's timing. . .

Here are the latest pictures of Lili, sent to us on Monday, July 9.  Right now she lives at the Children's Welfare Institute of Shenyang City in Liaoning province in eastern China.   We are currently awaiting travel approval and praying that it comes by August 3rd so we can travel August 17th.  We would love for you to join us in praying for Lili and for us as we prepare to travel to China to meet her!
